The Independence of the Judiciary Coalition, released a statement declaring its support to the victims of the Beirut post blast and their families in their battle against lifting legal immunity granted to all entities identifies by Judge Tarek Bitar.

Independence of Judiciary Coalition

The coalition aims to secure the independence and impartiality of the judicial institutions in Lebanon, and by extension their liberation from the ruling authority’s control, as a prerequisite for building a just and effective democratic state.
